Putting a rocket ship into orbit is no easy feat.

Before NASA accomplished this with Alan Shepard, Russia had been the first to accomplish the same only 23 days earlier on April 12, 1961.

Things could have gone horribly wrong. But still, NASA went for it.

Why? Because progress. Because opportunity. & Because they could.

Opportunity

When there is an opportunity available to step into a new and better reality, it is your duty to yourself to do just that.

It is especially necessary that you do this, when where you are currently isn't neutral ground, but it is actively negative to your quality of life.

This is the situation the world finds itself in today. Fiat is not neutral - you and your loved one's time & energy is actively being stolen without your consent.

But, this no longer has to be the case. The opportunity available to you now, is a life on a Bitcoin Standard.

Systemic Escape

Where you are currently is within a system that uses perpetual debt promises as money, which over time destroys your quality of life. It literally has to do this.

But, you don't have to stay there. You don't have to stay in a situation where your time and energy are effectively stolen from you.

You can escape.

But, to escape is going to require some effort by you. You will need to reach escape velocity from your current fiat life.

What is FEV?

Reaching escape velocity sounds easier and maybe more exciting than it actually is.

Who doesn't like the thought of shooting out into space and seeing earth from a totally new perspective?

Hitting flips in zero gravity sounds LIT. I know.

But to actually reach escape velocity in your life to get out of the fiat malaise will require proof-of-work.

But, what does it mean scientifically to reach escape velocity?

"The minimum velocity which a body must have in order to escape the gravitational attraction potential of a planet”

Your fiat life has its own gravitation pull on you.

• Your current network
• Your job
• Expectations and responsibilities in your personal life

These all drain your energy. Energy that you will need to reach escape velocity.

I define Fiat Escape Velocity (FEV) as - the amount of focused energy you need to deploy into the real world which will enable you to leave the fiat soul sucking reality of your life, and enter a bright new reality that respects your value.

Not all at once

There will most likely be specific parts of your life that you will need to focus on to reach FEV in that particular part of life.

• FEV in your professional life or career
• FEV in your social network
• FEV in your personal monetary technology

Recognize that Fiat is so ubiquitous that this may not all happen at once.

The cool thing is, that reaching FEV in one, drastically improves the likelihood of reaching FEV in the others.

The 4 Components of Fiat Escape Velocity

• Rocket Ship - The current iteration of you, your job, your network etc.
• Engine - The focused work you will need to accomplish to reach escape velocity
• Fuel - The resources you control that can be leveraged to ignite your engine for blast off.
• The Star(s) - The ideal future-state. What you're aiming for. Ensure all the other components are strictly directed at your ideal goal.

This is how you want to conceptualize this process of reaching FEV into the great orange infinite.

The quality of the energy you deploy to reach Fiat Escape Velocity will be determined by the level of focus you bring to bear on reality.

Clarity + Focused Energy = The Way.

A key tool in the fiat worlds' tool belt, is distraction and confusion.

As you attempt to move into a new phase in life by reaching escape velocity, expect distractions and obstacles. To combat this properly, have a very clear and defined north star for which you are aiming for and a clear roadmap of activities or milestones that you will need to accomplish to get there.

To illustrate this whole piece I will give an example roadmap to reaching Fiat Escape Velocity in one specific area of life.

A persons career is usually their greatest interaction with the Fiat world due to the amount of time and energy deployed on their job.

Most people are running their hardest on the Fiat Corporate Treadmill and are desperate to use their skillset in service of a mission they actually care about.

The first step is to...

Define your components

• Rocket Ship - Your current Career and the surrounding details. i.e Full time Product Designer at a large financial services company in NYC that requires 3 days in office.
• Engine
  • Develop 5 real relationships with people who work in the Bitcoin ecosystem and ensure they are aware of your Star.
  • Create 3 designs based on existing products or services provided by your ideal Bitcoin companies to add to your portfolio and get them shared by your friends within Bitcoin on social media.
  • Learn a NEW skill that enhances your current skillset, bonus points if it can be applied to your 3 designs above (i.e motion graphics etc.)
  • Reach out to your ideal companies with a compelling reason for them to hire you + showcasing the Proof of Work you completed in the previous step and the engagement you have received on social media
• Fuel
  • Your current skillset - Web design, Graphic Design, Figma etc.
  • Your existing network - Past and Current Managers, Peers, Mentors
  • Old designs in your portfolio
  • Results you've actually gotten in the past for other organizations cleanly articulated on an updated resume - Let the world know, that after a product redesign you delivered, sales increased 3x.
• The Star(s) - A remote-first full time role as a Sr. Product Designer at a top Bitcoin Financial Services company. Allowing you to move to one of your ideal states - Texas, Florida, or Georgia.

As you can see the key piece in making it out of the fiat gravitational pull is the engine, having that clearly defined will set you up to take massive action with the help of your fuel supply to get you into orbit!
