My "First" Halving

I've been aware of Bitcoin since ~late 2017, but I consider myself c/o 2021, so this coming Halving will be my first time experiencing the historic event as a full-fledged Bitcoiner. Like I told the Homies the other day; 900 is not 450. Act accordingly. See you at block 840000.

What I Found Valuable or Interesting

Why I Bitcoin: This piece by Quoth The Raven - a Bitcoin skeptic turned advocate, is indicative of a trend I predict will ramp up over the next couple months to years. As more and more people will be forced to come to grips with the fact that the thing they wrote off for multiple years is back and stronger than ever, they will begin to see the light.

How is Bitcoin going to scale?: A question we all desperately seek a satisfying answer to the deeper we fall down the rabbit hole. Yakes provides an answer that I think is worthy of consideration.

Charlie Munger - The Architect of Berkshire Hathaway: “Warren, forget about ever buying another company like Berkshire. But now that you control Berkshire, add to it wonderful businesses purchased at fair prices and give up buying fair businesses at wonderful prices." - RIP Charlie Munger

Wendy's Surge Pricing: I'm not sure how I feel about this one. An argument can be made that this will allow for more efficient economic calculations and is a step in the right direction. Or, this is the start of the 21st century Weimar, Germany.

What I’m up to

I expected Q1 of 2024 to be smooth and productive. It honestly was neither. I suffered a few unexpected personal and professional setbacks to end 2023, and most of my time in Q1 was spent getting back on track.

I'm happy to report that, indeed, WE ARE SO BACK. And more focused than ever. So, check out some of the stuff I've been dropping lately, and stay tuned for much more.

• Streamlining Bitcoin Customer Onboarding with Salesforce Triggers: My professional Fiat Mine for the last ~10 years has been in the realm of technology consulting. Specifically, Salesforce consulting. I credit a lot of my ability to understand Bitcoin to the time I've spent implementing Salesforce for clients across many industries. Anyway, HyperBit Labs is my attempt at merging the two worlds of Salesforce & Bitcoin. I will use the platform to publish content I'm hoping Bitcoin companies and IT teams can leverage in their Salesforce org.
