One of the most important aspects of humanity is our ability to communicate with each other effectively. This, matched with our ability to reason is what allows us to dominate the face of the earth. A correlation could be drawn between the quality of a society's ability to communicate and their competitive success against others.

This also could apply to the individual.

An individual's ability to master the art of communication is a great boon to those around him. This skill greatly improves their network's ability to coordinate with each other.

Having the reputation of being an honest and persuasive communicator, as an individual, in most societies, is the key to a prosperous life.

But, this begs the question, what happens when someone loses their stellar reputation of being an effective communicator?...

• Why I'm Still Betting on Bitcoin: One of the most concise and eloquent explanations of the value proposition and potential of Bitcoin that I have read recently. Bill gets it.
• Old woman begs for rates to be lowered: Foolishness. It’s sometimes hard to know if they are aware of the consequences of what they are asking for and the long-term pain devaluing that dollar will cause.
• But on a brighter note: Sun is wealth.
